Less than 50 miles to the west of Knoxville is the wild, untamed Obed River. The park itself is spread over 8,500 acres of beautiful virgin woods and mountains. The whitewater courses are considered some of the most challenging in the country. Camping, picnicking, hiking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and hunting are a few of the plentiful activities you can enjoy.
